Nominoë Purifying Face Foam

99,00 lei

Brittany from within. Certified organic.

Everything else in this selection comes from the sea. This comes from inland.

The Bretons have a word for each half of their land: Armor, the land of the sea, and Argoat, the land of the forests. Nominoë works with Argoat, the gorse from the heath, the broom, the artichoke, the buckwheat from which flour is milled for galettes.

The brand was born in 2008, from the desire of two people to bring back Breton plants into cosmetics that no one was using anymore. Their starting point was the Grandes Heures d'Anne de Bretagne, Anne of Brittany's book of hours: a 16th-century manuscript whose margins house 337 plants, painted one by one. And the brand's name is that of the sovereign who united Brittany in the 9th century.

How to use

In the bottle, it's a liquid. With the pump, it becomes a dense foam that stays in the palm without running. Two to three pumps, massage onto damp skin, rinse. Cleanses and removes makeup in one go, including mascara, without stinging the eyes.

No essential oils in the formula. This is why it can be used on even the most reactive skin. The scent is that of the plants: discreet, herbaceous, with nothing added.

The four plants

Gorse: the yellow flower that covers the Breton heaths, calming.
Broom: its neighbor, also yellow, also from the heath.
Artichoke: the leaves, not the heart.
Buckwheat: the same seed from which Breton galettes are made.
